I pulled out the factory radio yesterday and the locking bar. I will need to make a panel to close up the hole as it is too big but I think it will fit ok. Looks like it will stick out about 1/2-3/4". I have some 1/8 " aluminum sheet to make the face plate and new mounting bracket out of. I should get the arb switches from Ian while I have it apart and install them too.

I knew there around somewhere, what's the axle tube  welding schedule? Do I need to get some rod for that?

i've really been enjoying arc welding lately so i thought i'd weld them up.  the rods will probably arrive at the end of the week.

Picked up a new tranmission oil pan, filter and magnet today that should cure my leak. I still need a new bushing for the trans mount, and i'd like to put in a trans cooler too.

Wow I guess it has been a while.

Well the rear axle is in, along with a new adjustable track bar ( JKS with jonny joint ). Need to work on the rear brake lines and find a steel sleeve that goes inside the Rubicon Express bushing. I have 3 out of 4 front control arms in. I'll install the front track bar and tie rod / drag link in the morning. Will also need to set the rear pinion angle.
