So here's the plan:  Buy a cheap Jeep, collect all spare parts that are laying around and build something to get back on the trails.

OK had some spare time this afternoon so did a little more work

Cut the front frame horns off at the motor mount, installed the arms and set the 60 in place.  105" wheelbase

Nice. When do you expect to be done?
What are going to rum for a tcase? Axle gears?

Looking to be done by mid summer.
Specs should be:

4 cyl (as usual)
auto
Atlas 5:1
D60 front ARB 4.88
14 bolt rear full detroit
double triangulated Clayton rear
3 link Clayton Front
14" Fox Nitrogens
PSC full hydro steering
37" Stickey Claws

#$%@! expensive....been awhile since I picked up tube.  1 3/4x.120 HREW $2.49, 1 3/4x.120 DOM $4.24,                    1 1/2x.120DOM $3.49   based on 280ft
