to give you an idea there is only about an 1/8" tread below the quarter. these krawlers have about 95% tread left on them . i got 5 of them for $1400

wate till you feel the differnce in traction, its like night and day. good deal for 1400. if you dont feel like running H-2's the newer dodge trucks have a 17" rim. they are steel but at least you can do a weld on beadlock. so im guessing your going to run a internal baed lock did you pick a brand?

one thing to becarful of is splitting a H-2 rim, ask lucas murphy about how he did his. he cut and welded rings to his H-2's all better now. agin good deal.

lucas didn't split his h2s'.  he was grinding the beads of the rims (plus the inner area of the rims, the ribs i would cal them) off very quickly on every outing.  so to stop or slow that process he made and welded on the outer rings.

also if you are going to use an internal beadlock i would use innerairlock. cheaper and a better product when compared to stauns imho (lucas is sponsored by them)  i helped set them up on his buggy and they went together very easily and when compared to stauns (we had a set we were removing to run the inner air locks) the quality and design was just plain better

just an fyi

i didn't know that, when i was down his place before the KOH run he told me he split one, maybe i misunderstood him.

thanks for clearing the air,

jason.
