My rear drive shaft is 2.5 or 3 inch gas pipe from home depot.  I have hammered it for almost 10 years and it has held up great!

Buggy is looking good.  Hopefully you can get some seat time in it this year.  :)

That's the plan, it shouldn't be too hard to get more seat time than last year...

Got the rear shaft back

Fast turn around time, shipped next day...
Should have my nitrogen tank on tues so I can get ride height squared away. Thinking I might bump it up a bit to 24 or 25" to make some room up front. Currently 23"ish

New d shaft is in, shocks are re charged

Rear tires are rubbing the shocks a bit.
Thoughts on 1" spacers or move the lower shock tab in board a bit? Tires are prob at 20 psi so they'll rub even more at single digits...
Whatcha think?

Shock looks like it's at a good angle.  I'd go with spacers

if they are just kissing the air shocks (will only remove the finish on the shocks) leave it.  i had the same problem and i moved the mount tabs and shifted them so i don't rub anymore.  this is better than spacers because it won't make you any wider than you are.  i imagine you will be at low single digit air pressure on the trial so you will be even wider then.

I think Tim could actually use these tires, then you could purchase some narrower ones =)

I might try to move the top mount inboard with these

The 14b swap is turning out to be a bit more work than I planned on...

Got some time in the shop last night and this morning.
Ended up re-doing the lower shock mount

Also mocked up my sliders.

Tires still rub a tiny bit when fully stuffed. Probably gonna leave the top mount where it's at and call it good...
