Hey Chris, I just got your message, I made the caliper bracket, but you can buy one cheap from ruff stuff ent. mine was originally a weld on design, but I ended up just bolting it to 3 of the 4 holes in the backing plate flange. Master is out of a 86 E 350. you need to grind the edges and hog out the holes. also 69 vette MC will work as well as a 78 Grand Marquies or lincoln i think

Tire shine biotches!

Seriously, cage is pretty much finish welded. I do have to put the seats back on and weld the lap belt mounting points, and teh shoulder harness mounts to the B pillar cross bar.

Special thanks to Ian and Dan for helping to pull the cage out, little heavier than I anticipated, and a super special thanks to Dan for his expertise in setting up the B pillar bar, could never have done it with out you man  Wink

Here are some pics, I got about 90% of the truck bed coat the previous owner put on parts of the original cage, stuff sucks to get off. Spent about 5 hours so far with a wire wheel on a grinder, Ian will atest to how much it sucks.

Seat mounts

Still have a bunch of gussets to add to the dash section and the seat supports, hopefully paint will start going on thursday. get it put back in and bolted down over the weekend. I will be on travel yet again all next week, so it is a wash for work.

In all reality, this should have been done a month ago, but I have been traveling so much that when I do get free time, I have been trying to spend most of it with the critter. cross your fingers for the BBQ

That cage brings a tear to my eye.  Really really sharp look and well designed.  All and all could you throw a price tag on that?  Really dig it.  Good luck on getting it in and done for the 8th.  Hope to see it there!! Wink

Price, you mean what I would sell it for or what I have into it?

considering the cage I built off of I traded labor and time for, I had all the tube, I bought it (gulp) over 4 years ago so I paid very little compared to todays cost, it was a group buy through neow long time ago.

seats                -$220
Harnesses          -$90
tube  (40ft)        -$80
misc. tabs          -$20
paint                 -$20

But I sold
Old cage            -I forget
Old Seats          -$230
rear carpet        -$10

I would probably sell it for about $800.

I still need to tie the front and rear into the frame, I will probably do that after the BBQ if I can make it, I would like it done before Fall Crawl
