did you heighten the front part of the cage where the top of the windsheild channel is?  Or is it the same height as the stock windsheild?  Just looks really tall , might just be the angle.

gosh darn I like that cage Wink

That cage is stunning. Got a question/comment about it...Did you attach cage through body & onto frame? I've seen this done & makes sense to me in a roll over situation. Seen some pretty scary you tube vids of rollovers were cage & body get ripped off frame...was a good write up in 4 wheel & offroad mag a few months ago were buildup (ultimate 09 rig i think) & they made plates that attached to frame & then to cage through floor looked really impressive.

Might as well update this.. I have been spending some time spending $$ and collecting parts.  I am still waiting for some back ordered parts, but here is what I have gotten over the past 3 months..

I had a Rad hoop bent up, I am thinking of cutting the back of the grille off and put it behind the grille for a clean look.
I am making some hi-line fenders, gonna take about 3" out of the hood so they will tie into this hoop.

around christmas time, jegs had a killer sale with free shipping so I picked up a new aluminum radiator over flow tank for less than $20 shipped with all the mounting brackets and hardware

Balistic battery box during the christmas 15% sale and free shipping

Rockcrusher billet drive flange eliminator's

Rockcrusher 4340 35 spline slugs

RPM motorsports fat chic flange covers... Heavy Duty!! Good Guys out there I ordered blue, but they sent me black by accident so when I called, they refunded me for shipping

Package came from Ruff Stuff last month..

14 bolt pinion guard and disc brake brackets

Shackle hangers. the centered ones are for the rear and the off set will be for the front.
I have the bushings, they are just not in the pic

I got these 2.5" hangers, the ones on my frame are kinda beat, so I am going to french these into the front of the frame, mean while offseting them the 1/2 inch out to accomidate the stock D60 perch mounts.

Lastly a couple of old stand by's. I needed some D60 u-bolt plates and some longer 14 bolt perches. I am obviouslt going to run a anti-wrap bar and some nice s-10 mains in teh rear springs, but hopefully with these also used, the wrap won't be too bad.  I do plan on 4 linking in the near future.. the worse the wrap is, I guess the sooner I start saving money for the 4 link.

Also ordering 30 feet of 1.5" HREW for some much needed mods, more on that later.

I have all the 14b Ruffstuff goodies.  They work well!  I had to do some minor modifications, but I am satisfied!

Ya I had to mod some of my ruff stuff parts around the hole area. Not to much mods just did it with a Rat tail file and the parts fit fine.

John I have some OEM chevy 60 spring plates if you want to use them. You can have them if you want. There plenty beefy and Free.

If some of you recall, I posted about the sale ruff stuff was having around christmas time.. thats when I bought all that, I paid a hair under $200 for everything shipped so it didn't bother me to pay for those.. but would have been nice to know.  Looking for some 14 bolt ones if you have any hanging around?? if not, got a great price from my boys over at palmer spring.. $10 for all my u bolts, they would make the plates up for me cheap..

leafs front and rear for now since I already had the springs and all the parts except the shackle hangers (less than $30) to get the rear in. eventually I will back half and 4 link the rear. right now I just have the cash to do it with in a timely manner the way I want too.

what, you want an update?

Steel is getting ordered today for boat siding. Fenders are coming off this week and the Hi-lines will be fabbed up.  might comp cut the rear, might not, might just wait till the stretch. Jeep is going up to Tony's soon and we're tearing the exhaust (or whats left) off and fab up a new exhaust head back.

Just saving up cash right now for more part purchasing.  I had to shovel out $$ for preschool so I took that from my jeep money, plus I just bought a new plasme TV for my bed room, again, came from the jeep money.

to get it wheelable this year, I need to address some of the front suspension issues that are causing my front pinion to blow up each trail ride, which is nothing more than calling Pace Auto to order a new front spring.

Oh and I got new cup holders for the cage, they're blue
