So here it is the new buggy build.

Picked up the chassis today of all days!  Pictures are below.
The plan is for a front & rear stear buggy.  Front will be a Ford HP60 rear will be a Chevy low pinion 60.  Both with 4.10’s Lincoln locked, stick inner shafts, Yukon 35 spline outer stubs, Spicer life u-joints, Rockcrusher drive flanges and Rockcrusher covers.

Will be running the Dedenbears from the red Jeep on the rear and the stock Chevy knuckles in the front.  Stock 1 ton Ford brakes in the rear and stock 1 ton brakes in the front.

Drivetrain will be a fuel injected AMC 360 with a TF727 with 4.3 Atlas, 32 spline front & rear, 1350 flanges fr&rr, 1350 CV’s front & rear.

Will get more details as I go along

and yes we will be redoing the rear, Jason thinks it looks geigh  gaycop

Wow what a trip, drifting snow at 5:00 AM till we hit Hartford. Then smooth sailing even some sun shine in NJ. On the way back we make it over the bridge in NY city then run into traffic, also cold but no snow. Then back up threw CT snow and wind. But we did it and Miguel got a great platfrom for a safe and well planed out buggy. Should be a real fun machine and a great prodject.

Todd thanks for being on standbuy, kinda.

And its still snowing out Roll Eyes

Glad I was able to get the fuel cell, radiator, tranny cooler, power steering cooler all made to go with this chassis.  That combined with the fact the chassis is setup to run an AMC motor and TF727 kind of made it an easy decision.  However I'm still worried about the roof height, well have to see when its all put together.

What do you think Jason, just shortened the build time by at least 6 months, maybe 9!

Ya you knocked alot of time down, still a long and bumpy road ahead with alot of twist and truns ( look at Sean ) but like we talked about this puts alot into focus and all the extras added to the nice list Grin

So yes your alot more ahead with a build than most.

It will be at my house till we can make some room ( Got to sell one of the jeeps, maybe the Willys ) at his. It will be tricky getting it down his driveway and into its facbricating spot ( garage space ) but once in it will need a good cleaning and a few Mods to the rear section and shock tabs.

Well, let me know when you guys are moving it.  We can use my wife's 4x4 ATV to roll it down the driveway and push/pull it into position.   Wink

He needs to brun it for heat as he spent all his money on the new buggy Grin

Seriously I'm not sure. I know he's really going to start beating the snot out of it or at least he better.
