that is impressive.........I need your monstrous cooling because on Saturday my tranny got to 180 during the heat of the day on the street so I imaging it would sore over that on the trail no?
It happened during long hills going about 40-45mph but I think its because I am on 36's with 2:73's. Really stressing that TF999.

Mine goes to 180 on the street, and 180 on the trail. Do you have a fan pulling air over the cooler at all times?

oh ok.... I have a constant running fan on my CJ, belt driven no clutch type (stock one) and my cooler is on the outside of my radiator as there is no room between cooling fan and radiator. I have never gone much higher than 185-185 but on a 95 degree day who knows
but 180 isn't too bad? It usually is around 160 on flat ground no stress in the warn weather (75 degrees ish) and only 140 on cooler days ( 55-60 degree ish)
Sorry Miguel for the take off on your thread. I will delete it and start a new thread if you prefer.

No, 180 isn't bad. When it gets above 220, I'd be worried.

Yeah not the best looking for sure more concerned about wheeling it then how it looks right now.
I'd like to get a modified CJ hood & grill on there at some point, got to put the front winch on first.
Absolutely need the suck down capabilities before I do anything else
One more thing need to install the full Detroit from the old rig in the rear diff. REALLY SUCKS shifting an Atlas when spooled front & rear!!!

Im really not sure if you would be better with it in the front or the rear... It would turn better with it in the front, but in the rear it would make it easier to shift for front digs...

Buggy keeping you up at night LOL..............JK
BTW got alot done today, ground down the lower lip of the rear Chev D60, there had to be 3/8" of extra crap there.
Installed a lexan panel on the pass side firewall this way I could still see the pass tire.
Raised the pillow block 3/4", hope thats enough!
Also put in a little heat shield between the exhaust and the battery, lets see how well that works.

Will probably re-tune the shocks before Sat.
Rears are at 350 cc oil + 200 psi Nitrogen
Fronts are
cc oil + 200 psi Nitrogen
I think I need more oil in the rear what do you think

Cant say for sure ive only seen it parked with very limited driving. Check with Sean and I think he's bringing his charging kit to play with his charge, so maybe you can leave yours home for now. He wants to do some jumping so I know he will be farting around with his bumps and his shocks.
PM about SeaKonk or just call.
Jason.
