I would think the bbs work better. the golf balls are too heavy, no? wonder how noisy they would be too.

yea i am sure the bb's are the way to go. I was just really intrigued by the idea.  i heard the bb's sound like a rain stick when you come to a slow rolling stop....seems enjoyable.

You won't hear the BB's.  I've daily driven 2 vehicles with them and never once heard them.

i hear my bb's when i come to a stop. kind of funny pulling up next to someone at a light and you hear the rain. other than that you wont notice them. and the is no max as far as how much you put in. i have about 30 oz per tire. they work well on my ltb's but they still shake but then again they are ltb's and i have some drive line slop.

Hey Andrew take a look at the following thread, looks like some people are having issues with inner beads on some tire including the Pitbull's because of differences in the thickness of their bead.  Popping inner beads at single digit tire pressures, kind of defeats the purpose of a beadlock.  Looking good BTW.

Also, if you have BBs, and pop a bead....expect the bystanders to be unhappy.

Ask me how I know.   Grin
