Don't be fooled by the pictures, it is in no way good shape........trust me when I say there will be more work to be done mounting the body and making the doors etc work than any other single part of the project.

what are all my other builds todd? this is the main build I have been gathering parts for for a long time, I just happen to have changed direction a few times and now going to run a different body.

The Ranger is the only "build" that I got specifically intending to wheel and didn't for good reasons.

so technically this build is still an offshoot from "project badass" with the drivetrain being exactly what i "should" have done from the beginning, but everyone here who has built anything for wheeling I think at this point "would have" done it differently knowing what they know now.

I'm only kicking myself for not just throwing those D44s under the orange jeep and being done with everything haha.

I understand what you were saying, and this project has had my ass in gear for a long time so it may seem like I have had a lot of unfinished projects, but this one particular one has been kicking my arse fortoo long and I do plan on getting it going on a much faster pace than when I had the fiberglass Tub.

I have a sheet of 18 guage that I plan to use as structual flooring and bracing in orer to mount the body on the TJ frame which by the way I measured up and it looks like it will take a little squeezing but will fit almost perfectly.

as soon as this wretched heat blows over I'm going to pul the original frame out from under it and re-evaluate the mounting points. I plan to make a 1/2exo cage to prootect the general shape and integrity of the body, which may just end up being the way I connect it to the frame we'll see though.

also 3 out of the 4 doors currently open and shut and latch. the 4th door is missing a handle but i think it will still operate fine.
front glass is coming out, and debating on keeping the roof or not. leaning towards keeping it for now because whoever put it in seems to have done a halfway decent job. except for the horrible sunroof.

back window is also a topic of confusion, because it looks like it came out of a garage door and someone scarfed it in there with some fiberglass and black magic.  for now I'm going to concentrate on mounting it to the frame.

Chop the roof and rake it a couple degrees to the front.

Nice find, where did you end up getting it?
