If you're ever up in Nashua, swing over to Hudson (by Sam's club and Wal-Mart) and stop by Maine Oxy. Great little shop. Prices are very good, and Doug is always willing to give advise.
That way you won't have to wait for shipping.

your right maki. i was the "rigger" but he went and got the forklift for me and then put it away.
then i stored the axles in a little barn he has and then pulled my jeep in his garage to do my tube fenders where it has been all week.
and i make my mother walk out to her car in the rain

i'm thinking of cutting my front bumper at this line.
what does the jury think?
i also started to 'fab' up some brackets to hold my compressor and fuse box. i'm cutting up my stock rear bumper so my jeep is an eco-friendly green trail rig

fenders are gonna be spiffy. What color? You gonna paint em blue like the rest of the jeep?
With tube fenders you just gotta cut the bumper. Save the ends so I can weld them on mine so it looks like I have a warn bumper
instead of my home made on

I like the hammered tone from rustoleum. thats what i did on my windshield and upper doors, looks good with the patriot blue too. also for the front bumper not sure if it would work but it would be cool if you could cut the very end where it narrows down off, cut a section out of the bumper and weld the end back on to make a custom shorty warn bumper.

I've got a stock front sway bar complete with new bushings and new brackets. You'll need bolts and your own links or discos, but its free for the taking.

I might be wrong, but it looks like you're moving kind of fast when welding. Turn the heat down a little, and go slower. Maybe that would help.
They look great though! Did you remove the inner fender like Maki's Jeep?

Regarding the bumper, if you're not bumping it into things then I'd leave it.

i took the entire inner fender out. something left but the tube fender. so i need to fab up ways to put things back on the new mini fender.
welding....where to begin.
i ran out of the rod i usually use (3/32). so i tried 1/8 and 1/16 and i got an epic fail on both of them. so i ground them down and touched up the welds. i so need to get a 220 mig. how much did you pay for your timmy? when i used the 3/32 i was satisfied with my welds, but i'll turn it down a little. my welder is kinda hard to turn down. you almost have to go by feel...
here it is for those of you following along at home

when i said toast, i meant im going to get a currie anti-rock or just run without one. it worked, i just was tried of having to tie it up for trail runs
