I’m not a huge fan of the tube fenders on CJs but they look great on your TJ. Job well done!

I think the bumper looks fine as well. If it were me I would trim no more then 2-3” off the end and cap it then trim as damage requires.

they have a tubing notcher at harbor freight in worcester for $39.00 and a buddy of mine got one last week when we were there.  He liked it and has notched about 20 or so notches with it with ease.  Probably no way near the quality of Johns obviously but for the cost???  can't go wrong.  I know I know there are those that have to have top notch tools but I have been turning my harbor freight wrenches for 5 years with little mishap.

to each his own...just a heads up ( by the way I do use all craftsman sockets and ratchets though Wink)

saturday night tony and i (i as in i watched Grin) welded in the radiator hoop and tied it to the tube fenders.  i wanted my radiator hoop to be both practical and practical Roll Eyes  tony suggested the tie-in setup we ended up going with and i really think it came out well.  i'll probably plate the little section on the front and put a blinker in someday.  oh, who am i kidding, it i won't ever get around to it.

and eric swaped back my original dash, so im back with 'spice'  Cool

i'm pretty sure that i didn't break yesterday, so that makes 2 runs in a row and ties a personal record since i've been been on 35's.  i might drag out the 60's and figure out what is going on there soon.
