Looking to send the CJ-5 to a good home.

jeep -
You know,  the cj-5.
1957
F head - slight white smoke on warmup
T18 w/ low first gear.
Dana 18/20 tcase mod
5.38 axle gears w/ Detroit in both
Narrow trac D30 front, yukon alloy shafts + spares
70 D44 rear (30 spline)
Fully hydraulic steering
Superwinch X9 with brand new motor and control switch

36" swamper irock's on MT classic 2 15x10 wheels with OMF mfg outer beadlocks.
Tires have been run 5-6 times maybe, essentially brand new

I replaced a bunch of misc parts in the last year, water pump + hoses , front axle shafts, winch motor, motor mounts

Trailer -
7800lb landscape trailer
Brakes
New charger and battery this year
springloaded lift-gate
New tires (would also include 1-2 spares on right deal)

Asking 5000 for jeep alone or 6000 for both jeep and trailer.   Price is firm as I'm not motivated to sell,
offers not considered.

Two options.
I will knock $500 off the $6000 if you would like Q's on trailready beadlocks instead of the irock's on MT.
I would keep the winch for $500 off if the trailer+jeep combo was purchased.

That is all

Bobby

*edit - And before anybody complains. Not looking to get out of wheeling, my cj-7 works great now and I'd really like a brand new trailer.

how about 4k for the jeep 5k on trailer,  consider trades for small stick convertible (think British sports car) or possibly motorcycle.

those axles cost me a mint to set up!   Roll Eyes

fyi the rear axle is a spool not a detroit, unless that was changed since i owned it?

another thing to know is the rear d44 has disc brake set up from tsm manufacturing

the front axle is a 1978 axle and has the bigger thicker disc brake set up and the entire frt end was rebuilt when i put it in (ball joints, every single bearing all the way through)

i honestly spared no expense when i had the axles built!  i figured do it once and be done with it! cause the old axles were breaking like it was my its only purpose in life

there is so much info about this jeep not said in this for sale ad and so many good parts on this things it is nuts! i have a stack of receipts from when i built it and it totals over $10k!!!!!! well over that in reality (glad my bride doesn't read the intraweb  Shocked)

wish i had some cash i would just buy it back! i love it and miss seeing it sit in my garage!
