I was told buy the guy I got it from that the motor was locked up. Its missing the front brackets and all the parts on the front half. I does have the TBI unit and wiring harness, but if you want those you need to take the hole motor. It can be picked up at my house in Holland mass and i can load with a skid steer. Good for scrap or a mock up motor.

no the kid who towed my bro in laws tj home from wakefield had a s10 as a tow rig.

can you spin the crank at all?

also is it a vortec motor and are heads included?

Nope not a Vortec. Didn't try to spin it. All i wanted was the front clip for the bracket. The heads are there along with the rest of the block. Its a TBI motor witch pretty much tells me it is a late 80's early 90's motor. Trust me if it was a Vortec i would keep it even if it was locked up, worth it for the heads alone.

I'll pass, hoping for the vortec, sounds like it is from a 1500 not an S10
