It's a hand woven 10x8 oriental rug, it's a legit asian rug. colors are off white with blue, purple and what I think is redish pink. Rug was last professionally cleaned about 6 years ago.

Story is, step-grandfather bought this long time ago, when grandparents sold their house up here and moved to florida, this ended up in my parents house where it stayed for about 10 years. My mom is re-doing most of their house so this just doesn't match the room anymore, so we took it to put in my daughters room. unfortunatly it just doesn't match the room like I thought it would. My mother tells me that the rug was a couple thousand dollars new, I honestly don't know, but this is a legit hand woven oriental rug, made by orientals with actual oriental stuff, rug easily weighs 100 pounds plus. I got the rug for free so I am paying it forward, looking for this to go to a good home. (so Tony, this can not go in the garage)

Let me know, if no one wants it, there is a small rug shop where I know the guy will take it and resell.

I guess I"m all about your second hand sh!t.  Raina likes the rug and wants to design our gues room around it.

If you still have it, I'll take it from you and even give you beer in return.

I will talk to her tonight about it and give you a call.  Hopefully we'll be able to get it this week after work and/or this weekend possibly.

If you want to bring it by, we'll be home every night except tomorrow.

I was going to throw it on top of the jeep, but I'm all for delivery.

That is obvious... the title doesnt say "Carpet" (American), so obviously its a Korean knock off.

The rug is georgous.  It's a true oriental rug that I'm very happy the wife made me take off Johns hands.  At the risk of sounding like a poor man, it's one of the nicest things we own now.
