I don't know excactly when I'm going to need it, but I know I'm giong to need one to get the POS to the shop to get it fixed.  I have my dad's truck, but I need something to put the jeep on to bring it to where ever it goes.

I'm pretty sure it will be just for a couple hours during one day during the week.  I'm hoping to get it started or to the shop by the end of this week, but I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple places.

Anyone got one I can borrow so I don't need to call U-Haul?

can't you fix yourself, or is warranty covering it?  If not, the $$ your gonna pay to have a shop/dealership fix it, you could swap in a set of alloy axles your self, it is retardedly easy..

It's not just the axles.  It's almost everything.  And I have the warranty covering it if I bring alloy axles for him to install instead of the stock ones.

So it's $400 for an entire new axle setup minus the housing ($300 for shafts and $100 for deductable).

Now I just need to get it to him.

That's how I got it home.  I think I might just do the same thing because it will cost me $40 to upgrade to the gold membership to get the tow for free and I think it's going to cost me more in gas to get from Hopkinton to Quincy and back with my dad's truck.

Just upgrade Jeff,  it will come in handy in the future anyways.

Are you taking it to Chris for repair?

i have a trailer, and i need it out of my yard this week because i'm having the yard paved.......soooooo, if you want to grab it thats cool with me, you need a 4 pin conector a 2" ball, and a truck.
PM me if you'd like its not my own trailer but i take care of it, store it, and use it whenever, so all i ask is don't smash it up, or hit anything. because i gotta fix it when it breaks.

Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass.  I'm not going to need the trailer until next week (that's when the parts show up) and you are 1+ hours away.  The gas there and back would kill me and it would be much cheaper for a tow.

Yup.  I gave him a call yesterday and he said once the alloy axles come in, give him a call and he'll get it all done for me.
