Cheesy

might be worth checking out all Superwinch items on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Superwinch-1331200-UT3000-Series-Winch/dp/B001Q399RA/ref=pd_sim_sbs_auto_3

lots of them are around 1/2 off.

Hmm, I wonder if I can use this to pull the boat on the trailer. the electric winch that was on teh trailer when we bought the boat was melted.

Says ATV. So probably not. Cause a boat is not an ATV nor is its trailer and you Sir, lack fabrication skills.

i ordered the first winch you listed for a rear suck down winch. but that smaller one would work as well.

that epi9 is a good price for sure

and yes a winch that is sused for an atv could be used to pull a boat on a trailer  Grin

Amazon always has good prices on superwinch, I have purchased two there.  The suck is if you need to return it, or if its damaged in shipping.

Thanks Jethro, I was more wondering if the current AUX 12 volt that powered the old unit would be sufficient to power it.

Well, Censored why'dcha ask that in the first place?

"Line Pull: 0 lbs - 15 Amps motor draw / 27 FPM (8.3 MPM) line speed"

Seems close enough to 12 for the girls I date....
