I have used them all! Shot 1000s of nails through all of them! Currently I use a a bostitch cause my hitachi guns got stolen and I had to buy new guns that day!

I prefer the hitachi above all other guns but for the money the bostitch will serve you fine. I have had mine (replacement bostitch guns) for 6 years now. Thought they would wear out but they just keep working. One is messed up when it is below freezing out, won't fire but the others work fine.

The hitachi guns have better driving force with less recoil and are quieter that is a fact. But then again unless you are shooting a lot of nails you will probably never notice that.

Don't buy ridgid! That sh!t is junk! Home Depot crap!

Good luck

No problem, good luck

Make sure that used gun you are buying works in the cold. Seals go bad and leak, this is more of an issue in the winter. Don't know how you would check that at this time of year but it is a common problem.  Rebuilding a gun is cheap though, seal kits are cheap, and you can do them yourself as long as you take your time. I pay a shop to rebuild my guns. Usually only costs $75 or so. Depends on what is broken but the point is a used gun can work out great

I prefer a Stanley 13oz hammer over anything listed in this thread. Jeepgod can vouch my skills.
