you should skip the blueboard and use 1/2" plywood or something similiar. it will be much more rugged and you can hang cabinets, hooks, shelving etc. without any probs. ( you will want to catch studs for heavier items)  i used shiplap pine on my walls, i bought most of it with the rebates at home depot from the insulation i was buying at the time. and like me and todd mentioned... HEAT !  you could prob heat it for the price of the epoxy floor. i'd love an epoxy floor, but i'd rather be able to work on my junk in a t-shirt when its 25 degrees outside.  i've gotten used all the stains on the floor. load up the walls with outlets as well.

I was going to do the floor when I moved into my current house and did a LOT of research.  The end decision for me was that it wasn't going to work for my needs and budget.  Make sure you investigate your options well.  The stuff that you see on This Old Garage or whatever won't hold up (U-Coat_it..?).  If you are parking a classic car that is one thing... fabrication is another.  If the building (floor) is new then you are ahead of the game in terms of prep but if there is oil or other materials down then you will need to spend some time and money to get is properly preped or you are going to be disappointed.

I spoke to a NEOW member that does commercial floors for dealerships for a living and the cost would have been over 4K in the end.
