yes i am, but UTI has... weird rules.. and i dont have the money to get it to me. i need to go to the dmv and get a towing pass, not sure how much it would cost. then i need to call AAA and have them tow it and thats going to cost me 160 to get it home. and then i cant actually work on it at my school. i really want to keep it but it might just break the bank to try and fix. i dont have a job anymore. this car was a hope to expand my job search.  Undecided

Could you explain in detail the need for a tow pass?

I understand the need for written permission from the property owner to remove a vehicle from their property. However, permission is not needed if you had documentation of vehicle ownership which you posted you have already.

I thinking the vehicle would need to be registered for AAA towing as well.

im just as confused as you are.  Huh there is not license plate with a sticker on it. the registration sticker expired  in july
and all i have is the pink slip and a "receipt" i had called AAA and they said that i need to go to the dmv and get a towing permit to have it towed ANYWHERE. i cant tow it even with written permission. and its at an apartment complex sitting right now.

Got any Cali jeep friends that can help get her runnin?
Is she cranking over? you getting spark and fuel? have you checked your vacuum lines? Crank pos sensor? Is the dist. cap seated correctly? wires and plugs good? water in the fuel? bad sending unit? is there a brake pedal switch preventing it from starting? or some kind of aftermarket alarm system that is activated?
