I have an insert that is hard piped so it wil be fairly easy. It prob doesn't need a cleaning, but I burned a decent amount of greenish wood last year. Anyone have a good person?

I also have an insert, I generally do it myself, the brush from home depot or a stove store is only a couple bucks. once every couple years I have a sweep perform the job basically to inspect the flu and chimney.
Just be cautious, some chimney sweeps are like gypsy's. I had a quote of $149 to sweep and inspect the chimney from a local business, I had a guy come to my door last year and stated he would sweep and inspect the chimney for $50 right there and then. He was licensed in New York, truck was lettered as such, I let him sweep it. When he was done, he proceeded to tell me I needed to pay $1500 to repoint the chimney. I gave him his $50 and told him to beat it, the chimney was repointed about 6 years ago.
