OK...so the wife likes the running boards and I like the rocker guards pictured below so I need some opinions to end this conversation lol.

she doesn't like that you can see underneath...i like the clearance and the clean look and I don't care if you can see the frame

The more sticking out the more likely you will hit it. I love the boatside style of the jk body, ive been working on that design for a while now lol. I never understand why guys put rock rails that stick out on a jk. I like the ones you have pictured.

I thought about those first but didn't like how they stuck out, I wanted something that went with the body and gave me more clearance. Not sure where I want to go with this JK yet so I might need to upgrade later to something stronger like these.

tell her those are not authorized NEJ rock sliders because WHEN they rip off your jeep they can cause additional damage to your jeep, as well as injuries to innocent bystanders and damage to others jeeps. Also, tell her that NEJ says she is wrong.

      Well the funny thing is we share this msg board, this is the wife btw, but thanks for the feedback! Thank you Mitch I didn't realize there would be any danger to it. But besides that I had already agreed they were fine if they make him happy, and agreed without argument........So yeah ok
