I have a quick question for you guys. Is this worth me trading my 1995 pontiac firebird Formula for?
For those of you who have not read my post about it. It's got the 6 speed transmission with the lt 1 engine. the body is flawless and interior as well I would rate it an 8.5 of 10 and it has 2 sets of wheels and tires
The kid wants a straight up trade.
His asking price at 4500 is a bit steep but I value my car close to the same amount I would say. it has a straight 6 under the hood

all depends on whether or not you want to get the "jeep thing" again. i mean you just cured it by selling your jeep and now you will have a full blown case of it again

I wouldn't.

Even though current value of both it about the same, if you take care of the fire chicken, it's value will start to appreciate in a couple years.

The zj will never appreciate the same as the f body, not to add in wheeling it.

Save you money then buy something later, put the firebird away.

Heck friend of mine recently sold an all original 89 iroc convertable, 350 auto black with typical 80s crappy gm paint, about 130k on the odometer and got a hair over 6 for it.  Couple years earlier he only paid $2500 for it in same condition

 Cheesy

It does ride well and it has quite a bit worrk done to it including our shafts  front and rear.

I think the 8.8 would be a survivor but the 530 might have issues. It's cleared at 410 already.

Right now I am working on a deal for 2500 cash plus a few things I have kicking around viking auto parts xj
