Al the more reason I carry all the time everyware, you just don't know when the crap will hit the fan.

Look at those poor peaple at that IHop, go to sit down to a nice meal and bang, gun shots. I may not be able to make the threat go away but at least I can defend myself and family.

Same go's for the peaple that walked into that pharmacy on a sunday morning a couple of months ago, the guy after he robs the place of some pills he shoots the owner and his wife, along with a custermer.

Like I said I'm not Rambo or John Wanye but I will do what I can to defend myself and family/friends, at least I feel I have a chance and hope to never have to excersise that  right.

but seriously, i've never been too into guns because i thought they would just another expensive hobby for me.  i am  considering purchasing a weapon.

The world has always been a hot spot of volince, but it seems its getting worse and worse. Its like despert time's push peaple into despert situations.

Again I carry and feel maybe cant stop a riot or a mass ( not MA ) shooting but I will at least have a way to defend myself/family.

Its like the hole VT tech shooting, the shooter went close to 45 minutes shooting peaple in the head as they laid there and I feel really bad for anyone who was put into that situation.
Now I'm not going to rush to the "seen" with firearm in hand, heck the cops might shoot me when they get on seen. But I will find a good defencive spot ( firearm in hand ) and pray that who every is doing the shooting does not come my way.

If he doe's I will use said gun to defend myself or any one that I feel I can help. Thats one thing that the anti's ( anti's are peaple who don't like guns and want to seem them banned ) can't understand, I only want to protect myself/family with the best tool I can use, witch happens to be a gun.

I took all the Ma legal course's went threw the background checks, had my LEO sign off on me and purchsed a firearm for cary, I shoot at least once a week and not just 20-30 rounds I dump 200-300 down range. I hope and pray that I never get put into any situation where I need to pull my gun, but if I do I feel I have enough practice and training to defend one self or loved one's.

No one should be without the right to defend one self, thats a god given right, witch tool you use well thats up to you.
Me I choose what normally my foo would use againts me, a hand gun.

it is an expensive hobby, and if you're like most people once you get the buying bug it's hard to quit.

MA sucks as a gun state.  the laws are stacked against people who want to legally own a firearm and a lot of people are "anti's" as jason pointed out.  once you have one you'll start to pay more attention to people's opinions and the more you hear the more you really wonder what people are thinking.  i personally love the "i don't believe in guns" line.  it's not santa or the tooth fairy... guns actually exist. 

get 1, or 10, and don't broadcast it to a lot of people.  concealed means concealed.  no one needs to know you have it until a guy walks into a building shooting and you're the only one fighting back.

i am pro-gun, but this video makes a pretty good counterpoint that i hadn't considered.

i work and take the bus into work with the son of the cop that was shot.  He is doing fine
 and will make a full recovery.
