 So if anyone picks up a JPMAG and happens to stumble upon page 22, they will see a special section devoted to  a local Ma. trail

edited, sorry Cam  Smiley
from the rules;
- Please, do not post the real (public) names of trails. We have come up with our own nicknames for local trails that we ride on. Please use the nicknames...even if the land/trail is on public land. We don't want person/persons to go to a trail that was listed on this forum and dump trash, get hurt or die on a trail and then blame us because they saw it on this forum.

The first issue was a year or so ago. The new issue has a second article. Quoting from the current issue:

Quote
The trail is owned by the town it is situated in, and the guys who go wheeling on it are concerned that the town will close it down if every Tom, Dick, and Harry goes out there hootin' and hollerin' and tearing it up. For that reason we agreed to be rather vague about the trail itself.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the secretive approach. Our sport is legitimate and if we want to increase legitimacy in the larger public's eye then trying to fly under the radar screen does not help in the long run.
