tomorrows ride w/ a request PLEASE HELP
« on: March 21, 2009, 09:03:38 PM »
hey guys...im pretty excired/nervous for tomrrows ride.  I am new to jeep, got my 1st tj (bone stock) about three weeks ago and have done my mods since.  The only wheeling i have done is done some "amatuer hour" powerlines in town and dont know what to really expect tomrrow at a legit trail ride.  anyway, i was hustling to get the rig ready for the trail and finished installing the cb today but i do not have the tuner swv or swf whatever it is to dial in the radio.  can someone please bring this tool tomorrow and help me get the cb operational?  thanks in advance!!!!

wont be able to sleep much tonight im sure.  i look forward to meeting many of you!

Andrew

I can bring my SWR (if I can find my spare co-ax cable), but it takes more than a few minutes to dial it in. :)

No, not really.

I'll also be meeting you guys at the trail...so you'll have to do it then.  We can give your CB a quick test to see if it works well enough for the day.

Ok, I found the box.  I was smart when I put it away last time, and stuffed the coax cable in there with it.  ;D

Nice to meet you and welcome to NEJ.  You wheel really good and picked some good lines.  Once you get to know what your jeep can and can't do it will become easier and you'll challenge yourself more.

Either way, welcome to the dark side.....once you go wheelin you never....we'll theres nothing that really rhymes with that so I'm just going to take a small bow now.
