I am working on a grad degree right now and it is a huge pita to do while working 60 hours a week and trying to maintain some semblance of family life. I remember being back in undergrad and thinking life sucked with all the school work...ah to be young and ignorant again! It is amazing how much easier school is when all you are doing is school. I remember John telling me to enjoy it, and I now take back every negative thing I said about being a full time undergrad student. Now that I am also teaching a class, I never realized how much work teaching really is with all the course design, instruction preparation, and evaluation/grading. I also find it slightly ironic that I learn a heck of a lot more from teaching than being a student.
