Anyone been to badlands?

I was wondering if anyone has been to badlands.  If not, do you know a guy who knows a guy who has been?  info that i can't read elsewhere on the intraweb?

I kinda got some thoughts in my head...
it is 16hrs give or take so it would be a haul.  i'm going to have to be in the neighborhood for a wedding this summer.
