A friend sent me this off one of his toyota forums....if things don't change another trail will be locked down thanks to a few bad apples.  Sad

"Effective Immediately

The mud hole is CLOSED to vehicular traffic of any kind. Period. End of story.

All vehicles must travel to the left of the mud hole on the trail that goes around.

The reason is a 5 gallon oil container (probably gas) that someone left floating in the water.

The town will close the trail immediately if there is any further traffic there."

And mud holes in general are not a good place to wheel, as tempting as they may be. A few pics of a jeep in a mud hole is all the ammo the enviromentalists need.

I know it says all vehicles must travel to the left of the Mud hole, But above it says they will close it immediately if there is further traffic "There", Is there the mud hole, or is there refering to the trail

The NEA or some organization should erect signs on the trail letting people know. A bunch of ignorant wheelers could Censored us all over by accident. And that would suck for everybody. Mabell is a sick trail that I would love to see open.
