Ever wanted to help land use efforts for your club and the NEA? Do you want to go wheeling while working towards developing legal road networks for 4x4 use?

Interested in exploring the unmaintained roads in your area?

Need maps and names of roads to check?

We'll give you the tools for these exploration trips and forms that will be used to compile a map for a network for unmaintained roads.

what about combining a 101 with one of these trips?  I think that would work out well.

Do a long weeked trip up to Northern Maine to Eagle Lake, you guys would love it.....you can go for days without seeing anyone.....kinda creepy, but cool. It's more of an expo trip than a hardcore wheeling trip.

That sounds cool, have any more information about it? What are the roads like?

The other club I'm in has a land use team that normally only goes on rides on new roads.  Possibility for our club if it doesn't exist.  Generally it includes only 5-7 rigs at most and is to a private location.  They are now part of NEA so maybe some of this will become a team effort.

this is an NEA team effort, any club can explore roads and help make maps for the NEA clubs to use.

The Roads are pretty tame, alot of that depends on the time of year you go. Everyone who does this trip always rants and raves of what a good time it was. I had a friend of mine go up with a stock xj, he said it was kinda rough for a stocker if you tried doing much exploring, but if you stayed on the main trail it was okay. Heres a link with some info on it from a past trip http://4x4icon.com/offroad/dwmexpedition/index.htm
