Finally took my front axle apart, kinda tricky getting the broken piece out. don't forget this is an alloy shaft in a dana 30 with 36's. And I don't have a heavy foot.
new yukon alloy on the bottom

Kinda weird how they machine it. Almost always guaranteed to break at the splines.

Almost looks like a 30 spline D44 shaft machined down to fit a D30 carrier

I think that is exactly what it is, the CJ inner C's are the same as a D44
