I didnt take my camera out, didnt feel like getting it wet and broken. scored am 1183 on the front and 978 on the rear on the ramps. Not bad for a short arm suspension. That got the crowd to start heading down to the ramps and course
Some of the hills they had set up were pretty crazy, steep and slippery. The rock garden was a lot harder than it looked, I was pretty sure a front shaft was gonna break, I was due. Been hammering on the same u joints for a while now. Thanks to tony and the guy who let me borrow the 36mm socket, I guess I should bring my tools with me all the time now. Having a spare shaft does no good when you dont have tools to change it. Put a new axle in and went back out on the course, stayed off the rocks though. There were 2 cherokees stuck on it.

in the little time we spent around the tent, there were a few people who went and grabbed a card.
haha and oh yeah bigD where were you? we kept seeing this guy with a green CJ, the paint was probably more "lime" green, but looked alot like yours, meant to snap pics of it.

that green jeep is much better geared and has a much better engine under the hood. He was the trail leader last year for the event and I followed him around the course last year. He has quite the jeep though...forgot his name but Axle will chime in with it as he knows who we are talking about. Great guy though.
As for me... my jeep won't see any action for months now. I am throwing in the towel until after surgery I think as I just don't have the time to wrench right now or a place. The jeep sits in my driveway with no steering and I think I will ho.ld off putting it back together until I get a deal on a non leaking Power steering box. No sense to putting this leaky pig back under it when I will be tied up for months unable to wheel any way. It will make a nice driveway orniment for now.
Glad you guys still got in some fun in the rain

The course was real greasy this morning on the big loam piles. I do think the slippery conditions saved a few knuckleheads. I can't believe how many people turn right when you say turn to the drivers side
It was a blast, but what a long day. I didn't see any vendor booths, any other club tents, and no rti ramps, but I think I did the course 25 times leading groups.

haha that was awesome he won those, actually though, next to my jeep there was a guy with a stock liberty, he won a tire cover, but it was different from the other ones, this one was like a canvas material, nice guy though, and apparently he tried to take it on the trail and got stuck on the first little hill,he had his son with him and I guess wanted to take him on his first trail ride.

so I decided to mess around with this new photo editing program, so tried to do an HDR image....came out kinda meh, but was my first try ever....with only 30% fail....
and I now just realized why its not as great as it could be...my ISO setting was on the default setting instead of 800 which should be the minimum.....ok forget the 30% fail, this is 99% fail.

I already posted them up top, ive been messing with the HDR setting in photomatrix, and ive discovered pics taken with a low iso setting don't seem to render very well they either make the pic look very slightly different, or no difference at all.
