I'm not a BFG expert, but I would guess that the tires Mark just bought would be useless in under 500 street miles. Maybe less.
A normal 40" tire with aggressive tread might last 10k-20k miles?

that is the type of response I was looking for....dang you must leave a sticky rubber trail wherever you go on the street at that rate.
there is no info available cuae they were never meant nor do people run them as street tires. the are a competition tire meant for offroad use. twisty's guess is purely that . . . a guess
as to normal tires, i have seen 34 ltb's go for around 25k miles and they were driven alot of trails and street
