i love how it sits!

Were you practicing plasma on it? Or did you "borrow" a bolt here and there from it for the TJ?

looks killer ''Low Rider'' style.  Leave it as is and just weld it in place.

I'm surprised the bellcrank shaft didn't break with front end resting on the pitman arm.

2 bolts that hold the axle to the "frame" sheared off, 2 are mia.  i'm currently in the process of dragging my mig into the field and going to try and weld on a nut on the sheared bolt and try to remove it.

110v 100' extention cord didn't cut it. After talking to paul, I'm making an adapter so I can un 220 off a drier plug.

You cant lift the front end with another tractor and just feather it back to the garage and repair it there?

Jason.

the garage is on the other side of the street.  it would have been doable but very very tough.  i'll have the tractor up and running tomorrow morning hopefully.

so i got this fixed and my dad had wrecked the tractor again... Roll Eyes

so for the last couple of days in the full sun, this is what i had to do.  the spindle cracked just outside of the axle tube.  the part of the spindle had been welded in place by mistake by someone a couple decades ago i think.  couldn't get the inner tub out.  i welded on a pipe to hammer it out.  used a 3' pipe wrench with a 3' breaker bar on it...notihng.  drilled holes to pour in pb blaster nothing (before i figured out it had been welded)  heated it up till the bump stops started to melt...nothing so i welded the crack (it broke into 2 pieces) back together and then plated the remaining axle tobe and gusseted it.  its worked for the last hour or so cause i can hear my dad mowing with it now.... Roll Eyes
