I just picked up this, 2003 sportster 1200 100th anniversary, w/ 6000 miles. $6500. (the winch will have to wait a little longer Grin)

Awesome pick-up.  Great price, great bike and I know your goign to have a ton of fun on it.  Now if you kid keeps following in you footsteps, I see another one coming soon.  You bought a CJ, he bought and XJ....so does that mean he's getting a v-rod?

OOPS.  I said had but meant have.  Definately a nice bike but wait till you have to polish the chrome.  I spend hours upon hours!

Nice looking bike, Bob!

You found that on Craig's List, didn't you?

Oh...

By the way, if you ever need to replace the ignition module (or just want more power!), replace it with the Screamin' Eagle ignition module.  It bumps up the timing a little bit and moves the stock rev limiter up quite a bit higher (about 6800rpms for the 883).  I just had it replaced it on my mother's '98 Sportster 883 and it made a world of difference (along with the Screamin' Eagle slip-ons and Stage 1 air cleaner system)!

You of all peaople should know it is a sickness...

Pipes, air filter and re-jet the carb, and ride the crap out of it, once you start messing with the internals it will start to develop a typical HD problem, leaks, and they don't stop..

whats the phrase, Harleys don't leak, they mark their spot  Grin
