This weekend we were down at RC and Sean successfully climbed the "hands climb" in a 2 seat buggy with NO spotter.
To my knowledge the ONLY OTHER person to succesfully climb is Shannon Campbell
Fawking Sick!!!

Are you sure about that?  He might have made it carrying the right side on the right ridge.  While talking to some of the park staff straight the middle of the face had only been done 1 other time.  Talked to Adam W & he never mentioned anything about Clayton doing it.

Forgot to mention, those Massholes were from Bay State Jeepers.  Poor guys had been there since Wed & had been rained on constantly until Saturday.  They were drooling all over the 2 place enclosed aluminum trailer, "that would have kept us dry".

not 100% sure?  i could be wrong? but i know eugene is all over clayton about how he can do it cause clayton did? eugene seems to be around everytime i go to rausch and he talks mad shiiit!  maybe i am wrong?

i wasn't trying to take away from his accomplishment.

and the "massholes" you referred, were they driving tube buggies? the one i remember seeing was a orange with alum side panels?

fyi- i was not calling anyone mass-holes! i just noticed the buggy cause i have seen it on mass forums but couldn't remember where?

The orange buggy is Chris, mmmm dont get me started on him, you drive all the way down there to just puts around.......seems like a waste of time to me........doesnt push himself or the rig, does the same freaking hump like 5 times, why did you come down anyways.  Almost felt like it was more about getting away from his wife & 3 kids then wheeling.  Who knows to each his own I guess.

edit, looks like Alan Woodson also did it.

Badass!  I guess you are the guys Eugene was ranting about not actually doing it Grin on Saturday night. Roll Eyes

I believe multiple people have made the climb (three tires dirty) but Shannon is the only one to do so without taking a cone. (but he did use a spotter strap)

I have watched clayton, allan woodson and the wild nut drive the line using the right ridge which makes it considerable easier. Still damn hard, don't get me wrong. Driving any part of that rock takes a person with a few screws loose. Woodson Has pictures showing him climbing it in 2008 before shannon. At the time it was before it was full of water, loose rock and oil... Either way, the top is the hard part, not the bottom. Clayton has not drove it up the middle which is what the goal has been. So to my current knowledge it was Woodson, Campbell, And now Haluch!
