Found this bad boy while driving to a call a few weeks ago. I was driving down rt9 and saw on the back of this guys trialer with a load of other misc scrap and axle's. So I flagged the guy over and offerd him 50.00 bucks for it, so he said 75.00 I said ok your really killing me but ok. So He follows me to a safe harbor and i unload it with a fork truck hand him 75.00 cash.
All a while I'm on the phone with big time bragging rights talking to Miguel and a few others.

He was on his way to the scrap yard on rt20 near the poopoo plant and It was probally 30 minutes from being boiled down into a Toyota, or at least hammerd down to next to nothing.
Yes its a 78/79 front Ford 60, with 3.55 gears but overall the axle is in very good shape and some damm thick knuckles for a ford of this year. So this axle will be put to work next year in my Jeep, thats going to be a long story that I will probally start a new build thread.

Oh here some Pics Grin

I'm real supprised how clean this axle is for the area we are in.

Find a Eaton axle and I will help build ya one. That right there is a one of kind, only rear Eaton I know that was made into a steering axle using 60 outers and inner shafts. More can be found here http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=752599&page=2&highlight=eaton+front
