Does anyone have the Cobra 75 WSXT cb setup?  I am curious if an extra speaker would be necessary due to the compact handheld design of the CB.

I had one, it sucked . . . the speaker isnt that loud, the reciever is huge because everythign is built in, and mine cought on fire and its expensive.

I know someone else that has one, wired it up with an external speacker and it seams to work ok.

I have one and have never had any issues with it.  I also don't use an external speaker.

I believe this is the one I have, with the weather bands? mine works just fine. I got mine off ebay for like $30 shipped and it was used.

CB is finally installed.  It worked great so far.  It will come in handy for Camp Jeep next week.
