well worth the $ to be able to use my welder at home.   Even though I have a place I can use it in a garage it's nice to be able to do a repair conveniently at home too.  I need a house and my own garage damn it.  Soon, very soon Wink

big d, i'd love to see how that welder works someday.  if it has the ability to run gas it would be great for aluminum (my next conquest in the shop)

the problem with the cheapy harbor freight welders is the power supplies suck.  for steel its no big deal, it will get the job done.

but for aluminum they are pointless the power is too dirty.
