I break tools like they are going out of style.  Craftsman warranty is the Censored!  They are all I use.

true, but with lifetime warranty it doesn't matter, does it?

unless you live 50 miles from ther nearest sears and your only ratchet snap its guts in two and its going to be a 100 mile trip x 14 mpg in your pickup truck @ $2.69 p/gallon.  Costing you $20.69 each time you put a 5 foot extension pipe on it to crack your axle nutz  Grin ( I've dun that can ya tell........ended up just buying a 3/4" high impact breaker bar and sockets up to 2 1/4")

jk craftsman is great Grin

i am testing out their extended warranty on angle grinders. i had one break and you can't return it to the store, you have to print out a packing slip and mail it in.  just make sure you save the receipt or the warranty is void

Can't they look up your phone number?  They've done that for me in the past.
