Deep woods show CANCELLED!

we are sorry to announce that we have been forced to cancel the 2011 deepwoods extreme truck show and rockcrawl that was scheduled for july 23/24 at gunstock mountain resort. We were unable to procure the necessary insurance required for the event. it has been a fantastic 9 year run and we are truly sorry to have it end like this. we apologize to anyone that has made reservations/commitments in reguards to the show.
Please pass the cancellation news along to your clubs.

Dang that sucks...when i saw the msg about only have 2 people signed up to crawl i guess the writing was on the wall. Seems odd it came down to an insurance issue considering it has been going on for 9 years.

The plan was they were going to do a rockpile kinda like the jeep rally because only 2 people signed up for the rockcrawl. The language involved with the insurance made it crazy expensive.
