NO PLACE TO RIDE?
Join The Rhode Island Off Highway Vehicle Association

We are celebrating our 4th Anniversary with a short meeting and a all day trail ride at Stepping Stone Ranch in West Greenwich on Sunday, November 16th at 9:00am. Please stop by and hear our future plans, join our organization and enjoy a trail ride on 80 beautiful acres. Food and Drink will be available on site. Our mission is to establish a place in Rhode Island to legally ride your ATV, dirt bike, 4X4 Truck, or snowmobile.
Join us to help make this a reality!

We have added a kid’s friendly trail. It is a 1/2 mile loop and is mostly flat with some slight grade changes and some twisty turns. This trail will be for kids only! Parents may accompany them but must keep their speed slow.

COST: $10 per year, which includes a trail ride, an event t-shirt (limited to the first 200 attendees), and membership card, ,Join us to help establish legal riding areas in the State of Rhode Island.

For more information and rules Visit our web site
http://www.riohva.org

No loud bikes, loud quads, or ATC’s (three wheeled ATVs). Proper safety equipment required. Event will be held rain or shine. Event Rules will be listed on our Web Site. $5 Donation for parking.

Directions:
Interstate 95 north or south, take exit 5-A, it will funnel you right on to route 102, follow for 1/4 mile to Route 3 and take a right, you now will be on route 3 South. Follow 1 mile to Route 165 West, take a right at flashing light. Follow route 165 for 5 miles and take a right on to Escoheag Hill Rd. Follow Escoheag Hill Rd for 2 miles to the Ranch.

Remember go slow on Escoheag Hill Road. This ride is on a horse ranch. Be respectful and yield to horses. We don't want anyone complaining to the ranch owners that we (ORV users) were not giving the horses the right of way.

I don't if there is a "sign-up", so for now just plan on coming. Wink

Yes, there will be a sign-up!  Grin

So, I am officially organizing the 4x4 portion of this event on Sunday. If any body is interested in wheeling this day please PM or email me at lizasnow@verizon.net. Please indicate whether you are a current member of RIOHVA or not. We'll have room for about 30 rigs.

Also, RIOHVA is looking for volunteers to help. We are looking for people to help on the ground with parking, directing rigs, and with spectator managment.  If you are currently rigless, or are willing to help out without wheeling, we could really use your help. FWIW, anybody who volunteers will get the chance to have access to the property at another date.
