Final resting place...
Fittings on top, kicked out the bottom to take advantage of a nice hole in the floor.

Cooler mounting is critical!  You never want to mount the cooler so both fittings are pointing down.  Its easy for air to get trapped in the top.  Either mount the cooler so the fittings are up, or sideways.  If sideways, always have the supply line enter from the bottom.  That way all the air will be pushed up and through the system.

Do these plate coolers need to be mounted a certain way? My old rig had the fittings on the side, In thru the top fitting Out thru the bottom.
Currently I have it with the fittings on the bottom. If the fittings need to be on the side the cooler will have to get mounted next to the fuel cell (less air flow)

Trans cooler mounted

Having my junk at work has been really helpful. I've been able to knock out a bunch of small projects during lunchtime...
Time to make room for the boats though...

On my jeep, i have a stock YJ booster with an 86 Ford E350 master, little grinding on the mounting ears to clear the booster, different fittings flared on to the lines and adjusted plunger rod but otherwise bolted right on and would lock up my tires with ease and great pedal feel.  the master needed more volume to move the larger piston on the chevy 1/2 ton front and eldorado rear calipers.
