Does the diff fluid actually travel inside the tubes to lubricate the axle bearings at all?  It can't really because of the inner seal right?  So the bearings solely rely on the grease that they are packed in right?  My tube had no fluid signs in it at all.  I have all the parts finally and the bearings pressed but was just curious before I have to do this all over in a few more trips Smiley

Seeing I already answered this very question to you in another thread and it wasn't rebutted chances are I may have been correct. I know, it is a long shot but sometimes when it comes to CJs I get lucky.

I did not like the shop in Ware  that set up my Mosers the last time seeing how I had leakage and issues from the collars not being pressed on propperly.
The bearing on a 20 is dry, meaning it isn't lubed by the diff fluid so you must grease it. If oil got to the bearing and leaked out as you mentioned it's because of a faulty inner tube oil seal.
