so I was wondering what would be required to change my AW4 for an AX15, T-case is a np231, the tranny is showing signs of wear, especially after a fluid change.
I have fallen in love with driving a manual transmission and wish to bring it to my DD.

still have to pass and I believe "check engine" is a fail even if you dont require emissions. I am probably wrong though.

When your vehicle is 15 years or older, they only do a safety inspection.  CELs do not matter if you're older than the cutoff date.
