Well I started from scratch, bench bled the master, and started at the rear brakes.  I did the rears, then went to the passy front...which was still giving me trouble.  I went to the drivers side, and bled that instead.  Then I went back to the passy side.  It didnt work...so I started the motor, and did it using the brake booster.  This worked, and they are all bled.  But I went for a drive (it drives TOTALY straight now, just a little drift from the crown in the road) and I slammed on the brakes, and I heard a click, click, click.  I dont know what it was.  After that 50% of the time the pedal would go to the floor with little effect, and 50% it they would work fine.

I dont know whats up.  Should I try a diff master?

No, but I swapped sides...because I had the bleeder screw on the bottom.  Now its on the top.

I will try to swap masters tomorrow to see if that fixes it.  I'm not comfortable taking it far with these brakes.  Roll Eyes

twisty return those calipers and get 2 new ones. i had a similar issue with rockdaletj's jeep and it turned out to be the calipers.  we installed 2 new calipers due to them being frozen and this same type of issue came about after we put the new ones on. we returned them and got new ones and viola it was all fixed.

plus it won't cost you a knickle to get new ones so just do it.

oh yeah, the bleeders always go up.  just for future reference

I'll probobly go to PepBoys, and get those.  They sell Raybestos there (Casey recomended them).

Thanks Todd.

I actually put in another master cylinder...thinking that the one I had was causing the bleeding problem.  I didnt have this problem before.  I'm going to put in the other master first...then if that doesnt work I will go back to AZ.
