basically this pertains to a 94-02 dodge, exactly what is entailed in converting a DRW to a SRW?

I assume swap the bed

take off the rear wheels and dully hub

is the front still use a unit bearing? I have not worked with a dodge dually front axle? can it be turned down? should I just swap out for a free wheeling hub conversion?

wondering thanks.

Never done it, but I think the front use's the same SRW as the DRW, just with a spacer for the DRW hub. So if that true then its a no brainer, if not its probally just a unit bearing swap from DRW to SRW.

The rear dana 70 ( or 80 ) it may not need a hub swap. Most Dodge 70's ive seen are wide and are not like a 14 bolt were they used the same housing with two different hub like the SRW and C&C. So that might be as easy as swapping the bud hub rims for single's.

Thanks, kinda what I was thinking, I just have not tinkered a whole lot with dodge dually axles. I am seeing a lot of 3500 cummins duallys with less miles selling for considerably less than 2500 (or comprable) with all these bells and whistles. But I do not want a dually.

The Cummins will have the 80, so if you search for this search for the 80 conversion.

F-it, I'll google.
