so the other day i was driving along and jeep just shut off.... after a couple tries it fired back up and was fine. its happened a few times now.  any ideas guys?

crank position sensor, located on the bellhousing where the trans meats the engine block.  Generally towards the top to one side on the jeeps.

I had the same issue with my truck over the summer, it was a loose battery cable

oh duh.. i should have known that.  and ya know i looked at my battery cables the other day when i was under the hood and they were pretty nasty so i'll change those first.

just undo the cable and wire brush it real good and then make sure it is very very tight.

also check any ground wires... i had that problem with my toyota
and it was the ground from the block to the firewall.
