hey guys are the leaf springs universal fit for cherokees? the leaf springs in my 98 cherokee limited are flat and i want new ones before i lift it. but yeah what fits and what doesnt? thanks guys.

yes and no, they are not universal, may different springs, different rates, dimentions, thicknesses, widths, etc.. there is some interchangability but most of that will require sime level is work beyong just bolting in a spring. for your XJ, Crown sells a HD spring that nets a little over an inch of lift, the springs are dirt cheap.

Ian has those Crown springs on his XJ. Settled out to a nice level.

if you are gonna lift it, the kit will come with new springs anyway...
either way you should call jeff at crown. he may have a lift for that too

Sounds good, ill see whats up with the crown auto stuff too but im goin to the junkyard on saturday anyways so it doesnt hurt to look.

call Jeff @ crown, they generally do not sell direct to the public, they only do it through their retail store in Canton, due to contractual obligations they can not sell outside of MA and they can not list prices on the net or something along those lines. let Jeff know you heard of him from us, he will take care of you.

My experience with used xj springs is they are all worn out, cracked, sagging, you get the point. Give jeff from crown a call. Super nice guy to deal with

well i think im going with the the 3.5inch lift from rustys offroad cause it comes with new spring packs for the rear.
