2008 wrangler unlimited Rubicon JK
Looking for a way to get a little lift and maintain the ride. Hope to keep it simple. Does anyone know the -- 2.5” TeraFlex budget boost--. I read that I can lift the rubicon with this kit and not mess anything up and also use my existing shocks. I read a review that claimed it works great on the unlimited rubicon. Any thoughts and feedback?

A body lift is even cheaper and you still use the stock shocks AND springs so it has to be better.

just buy bigger tires it'll lift you up higher and take those big bumps better. maintaining all factory equipment and improve factory ride quality.

I would put on a spacer lift, some of those higher flares and toss on some 35's

The teraflex 2.5 is a BB. It's a very good kit, I've installed it myself. Comes with everything you need besides new tires

The shock extenders are also a good product and not a terrible design like other companies, the OE rubicon shocks are a decent mono-tube design. Stick with them for now unless you really get into wheeling.

X2 on the tera flex 2.5".  Very good kit, and when your ready you can upgrade to the longer shocks and it will perform better off road.

A few of you will know my response...

Clayton. Start off with the 3.5" and you can upgrade as you want. Always remember, you get what you pay for. Feel free and call Clayton Off Road, you'll most likely get Adam on the phone who can answer any questions, worries, etc you may have. Phone: (203) 757-0339
